Palace Vinyl proudly presents the new London-based label, Midnight Lounge - the brainchild of Moon Chaser and Paddy Cotter. The label’s inaugural release coming in from label co-founder, Jacob Crowther Head aka Moon Chaser.

Inspired by a feeling of freedom birthed over a summer of travelling and experiencing music scenes outside of the UK, Moon Chaser’s love of South American percussion can be heard permeating through the A1 and B1. These recordings explore the emotion evoked through juxtaposing human timing and synchronised, computer hardware. Chris Franck and Finley Mansell provide the live percussion on these tracks.

The title track delves into deeper terrains motivated by the surreal nature of dreams, the song winds through foreboding synths and driving rhythms breaking into unexpected moments of light. A good friend of the label, Mar.Tu utilises experimental hardware techniques to rework the original sounds of ‘Airport Architecture’.
