Offenbach's Pressure Traxx Silver Series imprint welcomes a new name to the roster, prolific Swedish producer and Moon Harbour Recordings regular Martinez (real name Martin Swanstein). The Copenhagen-based artist is on fine form across the four original productions on show, first peppering a deep, chunky and hypnotic groove with futurist synth sounds and far-sighted electronics on 'Threeism' before opting for a more stripped-back and naturally funky deep tech-house groove on 'Cat Ballou Bounce'. 'Aquanote' is a more urgent, nostalgic and analogue rich affair with notes of Detroit techno and deep acid house, while 'Breezer' sees him fuse spacey synths and inricate percussion programming with tough techno-goes-house beats and hazy pads.
