Awkward Silence push yonder with a second outing and UK producer Locky Mazzucchelli's fifth EP, adding two new sides to the label's overall formative shape. 'Kobsta' leads with a stern, rolling drive, drums clipped and purposeful, while 'Lonely Bass' slips into stranger things; 'Blue Kards' keeps things agile, rhythms darting through slapstick banana split sound effects and car horn beeps (scuzzed up by tape distortion), before 'Dance To The Sun' the frame, letting a warmer, more open groove settle in.
