'The fifth on OOZ introduces label co-founder, deWaal for his first solo outing on vinyl.

The record marks a unique point in Joe's artistic development - a timestamp marking the transitional period toward the deeper and electro-rooted sound he is making now and away from the minimalist sound he had become known for. A sound which even now, the artist has moved on from and may not be recreated again.

Infectious grooves, manipulated vocal samples and whirling synth lines still underpin Joe’s aesthetic but a deeper, tougher and more emotive palette is at play. The EP is made up of four distinctly different tracks exploring up-tempo, 4x4 grooves as well chuggy and electro flavours.
