Across these five cuts, clipped drum programming, crackling textures and thick, rolling low end are stripped back to their bare mechanics without losing any sense of movement. ‘Inside You’ and ‘Pack Man’ lock into rugged, swing-loaded hypnosis, while ‘Cruising Speed’ drifts further into smoked-out abstraction through hazy percussion and narcotised bass motion.
